Lifestyle, corporate office
Every business should aim to have an image library of say at least 200 print ready, professionally shot photographs which can be dipped into and used across all online or print formats, to keep a consistent brand image.
“I won’t lie. At first I was a little shocked when I was asked to do a photo shoot for BNP.” admits Hacker.
Design agency DNA quickly reassured him it was for banking and finance giant, BNP Paribas – the company who’ve sponsored the Roland Garros Tennis Tournament for more than 44 years.
They were looking for a photographer to shoot the images for an end of year book the Bristol based design agency were making. The brief was to capture the BNP Paribas team in their working environment and to reflect the energy and atmosphere in the office.
“The shoot at BNP Paribas’ offices in both Basingstoke and Bristol took place just before Christmas.” Hacker tells us. “So we had to dodge the tinsel and Christmas cards crowding the desks.”
Across the day headshots captured the team at work, taking part in a lunchtime yoga class, participating in a training session and during a meeting.
Headshots explains; “The staff were really nice about me gatecrashing their training session and meeting. It was also quite an eye opener being down end of a down dog for the first time.”
The team were so happy with their images that they’re being used across lots of formats in the business – and even feature on the office walls.
Shortly after the shoot, BNP Paribas got back in touch with headshots again to photograph more portraits and headshots. “The company said that everyone seemed to enjoy my company especially compared to other photographers they’ve had in the office.” continues Hacker. “And no, before you ask I hadn’t put anything in their tea.”
